1. What age range is MathMelo intended for?
MathMelo is designed for children aged 4 to 9 years old. The difficulty gently scales from single-digit addition (within 10) in early storybook paths, up through 20-range regrouping with ten-frames, introductory multiplication, and hundreds/thousands arithmetic in advanced worlds.
2. How does the Montessori Ten-Frame work?
When solving tricky addition or subtraction with regrouping (e.g. 8 + 5 or 13 − 6), tapping the hint icon or making an exploratory guess presents a two-row 10-dot grid. The array visually illustrates how numbers bundle into a "Ten", allowing children to grasp the concept spatially rather than relying on rote memorization.
3. Does the app require an internet connection?
No. MathMelo operates 100% offline. All 15 storybook themes, procedural puzzle generators, audio synthesizers, and sticker books function perfectly without Wi-Fi or cellular data, making it ideal for road trips and flights.
4. Are there any advertisements or in-app purchases?
No. There are zero third-party advertisements and zero in-app purchase prompts. Children will never encounter deceptive banner ads, subscription walls, or pay-to-win mechanics.
5. How does Apple Game Center integration work?
MathMelo includes 20 achievements totaling 1,000 points. Game Center is turned off by default to protect children. Grown-ups can enable it inside the Parent Center after solving an adult multiplication barrier. When enabled, earned badges sync directly with your family's Apple ID.
6. Why is there no sound or music playing?
Please check the following:
- Ensure your iPhone or iPad's physical Ring/Silent switch (or Control Center Bell icon) is not muted.
- Check the in-game speaker icon in the bottom-left navigation bar to verify audio is unmuted.
- Visit the Settings tab to toggle the gentle music-box background accompaniment on or off.

游戏内置符合苹果最高规范的 20 项成就（总分 1,000 点满额）。为保护儿童视力与隐私，该功能默认完全关闭。成年人进入家长中心解开乘法题验证后，可根据需要一键开启，达成的徽章将安全自动同步至您设备的 Apple ID。
6. 如果设备没有声音怎么办？
请按以下步骤快速排查：
- 检查 iPhone 或 iPad 侧边的物理静音按键（或控制中心中的铃铛图标）是否处于静音状态；
- 检查游戏左下角的喇叭图标是否被点按为静音；
- 在主页的“设置”页面中，确认“音效”与“背景八音盒”开关处于开启状态。
